Website Analyzer

SiteScore analyses a website the way a careful reviewer would, but consistently: the same checks, the same weights and the same thresholds for every site. You see what was measured, what passed, what did not, and what could not be measured at all.

Eight categories, one score

Each category is scored from its own checks and combined using fixed weights. SEO carries the most weight, followed by technical, performance and content.
  • SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonical tags, indexability, internal links, image alt text, structured data and social tags
  • Technical: HTTPS, HTTP-to-HTTPS redirects, robots.txt, status codes, a sample of broken internal links and character encoding
  • Performance: Lighthouse lab metrics from Google PageSpeed Insights, plus real-visitor Core Web Vitals where Google has enough data
  • Mobile: viewport setup, zoom restrictions, fixed-width layouts and very small text
  • Content: visible text, paragraph and heading structure, readability, links within the copy and near-duplicate pages
  • Accessibility: alt text, form labels, link and button names, page language, heading order and ARIA references
  • Local SEO: phone numbers, address signals, LocalBusiness schema and a findable contact page
  • Conversion: calls to action, enquiry forms, contact visibility and trust signals — heuristic advice, labelled as such

Measured, inferred and advised

Every finding is labelled. Verified findings come straight from the page or server response. Likely findings involve interpretation, such as whether a page has too little text. Conversion suggestions are recommendations, not defects.

How confident the score is

Each report shows crawl coverage — how many pages were analysed out of how many were discovered — and a score confidence of High, Medium or Limited. A one-page crawl or a JavaScript-only page lowers confidence instead of lowering your content score.

Where AI fits in

An AI model reads the measured findings and writes a plain-English summary and priorities. It never looks at your website and never adds findings of its own.

Common questions

Which websites can I analyse?
Any publicly reachable website. Private, internal and local network addresses are blocked for safety, and sites that show a bot-protection page cannot be analysed.
What does the SiteScore score mean?
It is a weighted average of the category scores, each built from fixed checks with fixed weights. 80 and above is good, 55–79 needs attention, and below 55 is critical. Anything we could not measure is left out of the score rather than counted as a fail.
Is SiteScore free?
Yes. You can run a free audit without a card or an account. Paid plans (Pro at £15 a month, Agency at £59 a month) add saved history, AI writing tools, monitoring, branded reports and agency features.
