Local SEO audit
Local SEO Audit Tool
If you serve customers in a particular area, your website should make it obvious where you are and how to reach you. SiteScore's Local SEO category checks the signals that live on your own pages.

What we check
Across the pages we crawl:
- Whether a phone number is visible or linked with tel:
- Whether address details such as a street or postcode appear
- Whether LocalBusiness (or a more specific type) structured data is present
- Whether location wording appears in your titles and headings
- Whether a contact page can be found
What we don't check
We do not connect to Google Business Profile, so we cannot see your reviews, categories, opening hours or map ranking. We also do not check directory listings or citations elsewhere on the web. Those need checking by hand; our local SEO checklist covers them.
Why on-site signals matter
Consistent name, address and phone details on your site, backed by structured data, help search engines connect your website to your business listing and help visitors contact you without hunting.
How findings are labelled
Most local checks are marked Likely rather than Verified, because text patterns such as addresses can be written many ways. Check the evidence shown for each one.
Common questions
- Does SiteScore check my Google Business Profile?
- No. We only analyse your website. Your Business Profile needs checking in Google directly.
- Does SiteScore guarantee higher Google rankings?
- No, and no honest tool can. SiteScore shows what is measurably wrong on your pages and what to fix first. Rankings depend on many things an audit cannot see, such as competition and links from other sites.
- Is SiteScore free?
- Yes. You can run a free audit without a card or an account. Paid plans (Pro at £15 a month, Agency at £59 a month) add saved history, AI writing tools, monitoring, branded reports and agency features.
