SiteScore Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SiteScore, available at https://runsitescore.com.

SiteScore is operated by Social Quill LTD ("Social Quill", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 15994668

Registered office: Unit 6a My Trusted Accountant, Balfour Court, Leyland, England, PR25 2TF

By creating an account or using SiteScore, you agree to these Terms. If you use SiteScore on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. About SiteScore

SiteScore provides automated website analysis and recommendations. It crawls publicly available web pages, runs technical checks, measures performance through third-party services and presents scores, findings and recommendations.

Some features use artificial intelligence to explain findings or draft text. AI features are described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use SiteScore. SiteScore is not directed at children.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.

Please tell us promptly at info.socialquill@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Free plan

SiteScore offers a free plan with limited features and usage. The current limits are shown on the pricing page and inside the application, and may change from time to time.

We may offer a free trial of a paid plan. The length of any trial is shown when it is offered. At the end of a trial, if you have not subscribed, your account returns to the free plan. Existing account data is not deleted because a trial ends.

5. Paid subscriptions

Paid plans are sold as subscriptions, billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Social Quill does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

6. Pro plan — £15 per month

The Pro plan costs £15 per month, or £150 per year when billed annually. It includes the features and usage limits described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

7. Agency plan — £59 per month

The Agency plan costs £59 per month, or £590 per year when billed annually. It includes the features and usage limits described on the pricing page at the time of purchase, including agency features such as branded audit pages, lead capture, client access and white-label reporting where offered.

8. Billing and renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price then in effect, until cancelled.

If we change the price of your plan, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and the new price will apply from your next renewal after that notice. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

If a payment fails, we may retry the payment, notify you, and limit paid features until payment is resolved.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing controls in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless stated otherwise at the time, you keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or its data. You can delete your account separately from your account settings.

10. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact info.socialquill@gmail.com.

11. Acceptable use

You must use SiteScore in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not:

  • use SiteScore for unlawful purposes;
  • use SiteScore to abuse, attack, compromise or interfere with websites or infrastructure;
  • attempt to bypass subscription limits or security controls;
  • submit malicious URLs intended to attack internal infrastructure, including SiteScore's own systems.

12. Website auditing

You should only audit websites where you have appropriate authority or a legitimate reason to do so. An audit involves automated requests to the website being audited, similar to a visit by a search-engine crawler.

SiteScore only analyses publicly accessible pages and deliberately refuses requests to private, internal or local network addresses.

13. Audit results and limitations

Audit results are informational. They should not be treated as guarantees of search rankings, traffic, conversions, revenue, security, accessibility compliance or business performance.

SiteScore does not guarantee that correcting an issue will improve search rankings or business performance.

Results depend on what can be measured at the time of the audit. Some measurements rely on third-party services that may be unavailable, and some findings are heuristic and labelled as such.

14. AI-generated content

AI-generated content is provided as an assistance tool and must be reviewed by you before publication or use. It may contain errors.

AI output is labelled in SiteScore so that it can be distinguished from measured findings.

15. User content

You remain responsible for websites, content, data and information you submit to SiteScore, including branding, reports, articles, case studies and notes.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Social Quill a limited licence to host, process and display it as necessary to provide SiteScore to you and to anyone you choose to share it with.

16. Client and lead data

You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate rights and lawful grounds to process personal data belonging to your clients, customers or leads, including personal data collected through branded audit pages or widgets.

Where Social Quill processes such personal data solely on your behalf, our Data Processing Agreement applies.

17. Public reports

If you create a public report link, anyone who obtains that link may be able to view the report. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. You can stop sharing a report by deleting it.

18. Intellectual property

SiteScore, including its software, design, scoring methodology and branding, is owned by Social Quill LTD or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, other than the right to use SiteScore in accordance with these Terms.

19. Third-party services

SiteScore relies on third-party services, listed on our Subprocessors page. Their availability and behaviour are outside our full control, and their own terms may apply to your use of them (for example, Stripe for payments).

20. Availability

We aim to keep SiteScore available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, which may temporarily affect availability.

21. Suspension and termination

Social Quill may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms or pose a security, legal or operational risk. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.

You may stop using SiteScore and delete your account at any time.

22. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, Social Quill is not liable for loss of profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of SiteScore.

Subject to the above, Social Quill's total liability to you in connection with SiteScore in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for SiteScore in that period.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services that are not provided with reasonable care and skill, and nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

23. Indemnity

If you use SiteScore for business purposes, you agree to compensate Social Quill for reasonable losses arising from claims by third parties caused by your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of SiteScore, including unlawful processing of personal data you submit.

24. Changes to the service

We may change, add or remove features as SiteScore develops. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you, and you may cancel.

25. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, give reasonable notice before they take effect.

26. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your local courts and to rely on mandatory local consumer protections.

Business customers may agree different commercial terms with Social Quill in writing.
